Fundraising Opportunities
JoCo Phoenix AYC partners with Lenovo Center and Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek to staff concessions and bars for events at their venues.

Our organization earns a commission on the total sales earned by the stands we staff plus a percentage of the tips we make. A small portion of the total earnings (5%) is taken for the JoCo Phoenix general fund and the remaining balance is divided across the fundraising accounts of the volunteers that staffed the event.
Event earnings are posted to our fundraising spread sheet when payment is received from the venue.
Internal Fundraising Opportunities
Throughout the season Joco Phoenix offers multiple internal fundraising opportunities such as

-
Calendar Raffles
-
Family Fun Days
-
Sponsorships
-
Donations
-
Canning Opportunities

Event earnings are posted to our fundraising spread sheet.
How to Sign Up
We use SportsYou to manage our volunteer shift sign ups. Volunteer shifts are open to all families with a registered cheerleader of Joco Phoenix AYC. Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age to volunteer for Lenovo hosted events and at least 18 years of age to Volunteer at Walnut Creek.
Each event on the signup list has a main list and a standby list. The main list are confirmed volunteers that are locked into the event, the standby list are volunteers that are committed to fill openings in the event that a member of the main list has an unexpected conflict or emergency and must give up their shiftWe also sometimes pull volunteers from the standby list to staff extra stands if the venue needs additional help.Knowing how many volunteers we have available for that event in advance, helps us provide the correct availability information to the venue.

Fundraising Policy
Family Cap:
We understand that some families may have more than one athlete participating in our program. To ensure fairness, we’ve capped the total fundraising requirement at $150 per household. This means that no matter how many athletes you have in the program, the maximum fundraising requirement for your family will not exceed $150.
Fundraising Requirement:
Each athlete is required to raise an additional $100 (separate from registration) through our various fundraising efforts. These efforts not only help support the organization but also provide valuable experiences for our athletes. This requirement must be fulfilled prior to any fundraising monies being allocated to the athlete.
Out-of-Pocket Option:
While we encourage participation in our fundraising efforts, we understand that it might not be feasible for everyone. Therefore, families have the option to fulfill the fundraising requirement out of pocket. This means you can choose to pay the $100 per athlete (or $150 per household) directly, instead of raising it through fundraising.
