At JoCo Phoenix, our mission goes beyond just cheerleading. As a non-profit organization, our focus is on giving back to the community of Johnston County  by ensuring that every child, teen, and young adult who joins our program feels valued, supported, and empowered. We believe that the lessons learned in cheerleading—teamwork, leadership, perseverance—are lessons that go far beyond the mat, shaping our athletes into strong individuals who will carry these qualities with them throughout their lives.

But being a non-profit also means that every decision we make is rooted in service to our members and the greater community. We don’t operate for profit; our purpose is to build something lasting, to create a positive environment for all who are involved. Every dollar raised, every bit of effort exerted, goes back into making the program stronger and more accessible.

Our program is run entirely by volunteers, from the coaches who dedicate their expertise and time to the parents who help organize fundraisers, events, and logistics. Each member of our team—whether athlete, coach, or parent—plays a vital role in our success.

Though JoCo Phoenix Cheerleading is a newly established program, it is built on the foundation of years of experience, knowledge, and a deep-rooted passion for cheerleading. Our story begins not in the present, but in the history that precedes us—years of hard work, dedication, and growth by individuals who carried the flame of cheerleading long before the name JoCo Phoenix was even imagined.
